A FEW CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

Terms of use.

Please read these terms before using a deployed copy of Stature.

1. The service

Stature is a height measurement and personal record-keeping application. It is provided for personal informational use. The operator may update, limit, or discontinue a deployment.

2. Estimates and limitations

Camera-assisted results are estimates derived from image geometry and a user-supplied reference dimension. They are not exact measurements and may be affected by perspective, posture, lighting, camera position, reference accuracy, and marking choices. Verify important measurements with an appropriate physical measuring tool. Stature makes no medical claim and is not a substitute for professional advice or clinical measurement.

3. Your account and records

You are responsible for maintaining access to your account and for the measurements you enter. Do not use another person’s account without permission. Device-only demo data is kept in the browser and may be lost if browser data is cleared. A configured Supabase deployment applies its own account, backup, and retention settings.

4. Subscriptions and billing

Paid subscription terms, tax treatment, renewal timing, cancellations, refunds, and applicable consumer rights must be supplied by the operator at launch. Where Stripe is connected, billing is handled through Stripe Checkout and its customer portal. Until credentials are configured, payment actions are development-only and no payment is made.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the application, interfere with its security, attempt unauthorized access, or use it in a way that violates applicable law. Do not submit content or images you do not have the right to use.

6. Privacy

See the Privacy page for a plain-language overview of the application’s data flows. A public operator should replace generic contact and policy details with its own current information.

7. Disclaimer and liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided “as is” and without warranties. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived. The deploying operator must define jurisdiction-specific limitations and contact details before offering the app publicly.

8. Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the service changes. A production deployment should provide a named operator, effective date, and support contact.
